Ron Liskey
Founder and Lead Developer
Ron has decades of experience in electronic and online publishing. He was Conferences Technology Manager for O'Reilly and Associates where he built integrated online and on-site registrations systems for multiple conferences. Before that he was Internet Systems Manager for MicroDesign Resources, where he led the development of one of the first successful Web-based subscription services.
Long before the Web became a household name, Ron was an enthusiastic advocate for the promise of the Internet. He volunteered for the Institute for Global Communications, helping to develop and translate content for this revolutionary network.
Ron currently contributes to several open source projects. He wrote eQuotes, a Joomla! extension for quotation management. While serving as the Joomla! Security Forum Administrator, he wrote many popular support documents, including The Top 10 Stupidest Joomla! Administrator Tricks, the Joomla! Security Checklist, and the Joomla! Security and Performance FAQs.
These days, Ron builds most new systems using the awesomely flexible Drupal system.
